Parking Strategies
Parking strategies are an integral part of transport planning. For each study site or area, it is necessary to establish whether parking should be supplied to meet demand or constrained to influence travel behaviour. For either situation, it is necessary to have regard to local and regional transport policies and codes and formulate a parking provision plan that responds to the particular situation of each case being investigated.
Halcrow MWT has conducted a wide range of parking strategy studies covering individual developments, mixed use developments, regional shopping centres and town centres.
