Halcrow MWT assesses the transport performance of sites to understand how and when current users travel, and to document the transport facilities and services that support the site. This information assists in identifying opportunities to improve site accessibility, especially by non-car modes, and in informing design decisions about site layout, access points and development mix.
Halcrow MWT uses a range of data sources to support these assessments, including focus groups, surveys, counts, authority consultation, existing travel databases and inventories of transport facilities and networks in the locality.
